Ground Floor

The cottage has a cosy sitting room with comfortable armchair and sofa, electric wood burning“ stove, TV, radio and CD-player. The separate kitchen/dining room to the rear is well equipped and comprises a table with 4 chairs, fridge with freezer compartment, electric cooker with oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine.

First Floor

Narrow staircase leading to the first floor. Front bedroom. Lovely sea views over the habour to St Clement’s Isle and St Michael’s Mount across the bay to the Lizzard Penninsula. Twin single beds, en-suite wc, wash basin and fitted wardrobe.

Back bedroom. Overlooks pretty rear courtyard. Queen size bed and chest of drawers, leading to en-suite bathroom. Seaward window. Washbasin, enclosed shower, WC, wash stand.

Exterior

At the front is a small area belonging solely to the property with a low retaining granite wall, folding garden furniture is provided. At the rear is a small courtyard shared with the neighbouring cottages.

Other things you need to know

The rental price includes beds made up and ready for your arrival, but you will need to bring your own towels and tea towels. There is an ironing board, iron and hairdryer for your use. Electricity will be deducted from your deposit and the balance returned usually within 4 weeks of departure. The cottage is non smoking and we have a ‚no pets’ policy due to allergy issues.

Parking

is on the wharf between the beach and the cottage or along the nearby sea wall. Harbour authority parking charges are currently 5 pounds for 24 hours. Reserved parking is not available.
Local buses run between Mousehole and Penzance throughout the day till late in the evening.
