An attractive, bungalow, standing in pleasant, sheltered, sunny gardens which are ideal for relaxing and unwinding.

Ample space and facilities for the larger family group.

Sundene is situated at the quieter end of the village but still within level walking distance of beach, harbour and shops. 3 bedrooms, 1 double, 2 twin rooms, also 2 'Z' beds, hand basins and shaver points in 2 bedrooms. Hall, lounge with patio doors to garden, kitchen/diner, bathroom/WC, bath, separate shower cubicle, 2nd separate WC. Gardens front and back. Plenty of parking in drive. Sorry no pets.

SUNTRAP - TRUELY A "SUNTRAP". Sleeps 6.

A comfortable, detached bungalow, Suntrap nestles in a peaceful location on a quiet road, with a short, level walk to beach, harbour and shops.

As its name suggests, the sheltered garden at Suntrap is indeed a suntrap, enjoying views of valley, woods and cliffs.

Thoughtfully planned to provide comfortable facilities. 3 bedrooms, 1 double with en-suite shower room, 2 twin rooms, 1 with vanity basin and shaver point. The enclosed front patio is ideal for unwinding beside the water. Well-designed to provide comfortable, family accommodation. The beamed-ceiling lounge has a bow-window to take full advantage of the harbour views and is linked by an archway to the open-plan kitchen/dining area.

Magnificent, panoramic views over beach, harbour and village can be enjoyed from this compact, detached bungalow.

It stands in a unique, elevated position with the beach only approx. 250m away and is reached by a flight of private steps and path, leading up from its own parking bay.

Terraced gardens front and rear, with patio furniture, overlooking the beach, perfect for unwinding.

Thoughtfully planned and equipped. Not suitable for the elderly or infirm. 2 bedrooms , both doubles, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with patio door, Z bed for variable sleeping arrangements, bathroom/WC, bath with shower over. Terraced, lawned gardens front and back.

MERRYMEAD - DELIGHTFUL & COSY. Sleeps 4-5.

Stone built, comfortable, mid-terrace, traditional Cornish cottage, ideally situated with a level walk of approx. 100m to harbour and 300m to beach.

Tastefully modernised but retaining traditional features such as the exposed beam ceiling, the cottage is perfect for couples and small families and the enclosed front garden is ideal for young children. 2 bedrooms , 1 double, 1 twin room, also 2 'Z' beds. Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom/WC, bath & separate shower cubicle. Small lawned front garden and rear drying area.

Portreath

Portreath and the surrounding area offer one of the most spectacular beauty spots in the county. It nestles in a valley between high cliffs, which open out to form a bay with a lovely, sandy, family beach and picturesque harbour. Although Portreath is just a village, all holiday needs are catered for - with a range of shops, pubs, cafesand post office.

Portreath is steeped in history and the 18th Century harbour served the local copper and tin mines, via the 8 mile Portreath Tramway, which has been restored and can be walked or cycled today.

Portreath is on the North Coast Footpath, with towering cliffs and secluded coves, with names such as Hells Mouth, Deadman's Cove, Smuggler's Cove, Ralph's Cupboard - a reminder of days of smuggling and wrecking.

Portreath is a haven for surfers, walkers, nature lovers and cyclists. In addition to board and wet suit hire in the village, nearby are cycle hire facilities with scenic traffic-free trails to the quays at Devoran on the south coast. Tehidy Country Park and Tehidy Golf Course are approx. 1 mile away and Stithians Lake with its angling and watersports centre is approx. 7 miles. Carn Brea Leisure Centre, approx. 2½ miles away, provides facilities for swimming, tennis, fitness, squash, badminton etc. Horse riding and pony trekking, even karting and tank driving are available locally. There is plenty to visit for all interests from the Eden Project, Minack Theatre, country houses, castles, and tin mines to cider farms, vineyards, beekeepers and cheesemakers.
