Set in nearly two acres of terraced lawned gardens in an elevated position overlooking the beach at Porth, this charming mid-19th century Manor is now complemented by the modern day comforts of a well-appointed hotel following a major refurbishment programme in 2005.

Just a few minutes' stroll down from the grounds via a private footpath provides direct access to the sandy beach, and the neighbouring bays of Watergate and Mawgan Porth beckon the keen walker along coastal paths.

Porth Veor Manor provides a tranquil haven yet is only a mile from Newquay, Cornwall's premier resort. The hotel's facilities include 'Beaucliffes' an excellent restaurant with a good wine cellar, an attractive well-stocked bar, lounge areas, and a conservatory will further enhance the relaxed atmosphere.

Lunchtime snacks plus morning coffee and afternoon teas are available in the bar, lounges or on the terrace. All bedrooms are well furnished and are centrally heated, double glazed and have private facilities, tv (with selected satellite channels) and tea/ coffee maker. 45 guests.

A full English breakfast is served daily for all guests. For those who have booked half board accommodation a three-course table d'hôte dinner is included, plus coffee, and a table will automatically be reserved each evening.

Please note that bed and breakfast guests are most welcome to take dinner (subject, of course, to space), and the table d'hôte menu price is £22.

Porth Veor Manor provides an excellent location for touring Cornwall. Situated on the spectacular and rugged North Cornish coast - The Coast of Dreams, it is just 20 minutes from the internationally renowned Eden Project and is within easy reach of such diverse attractions as the gentle and wooded Roseland and Lizard peninsulas, the Cathedral City of Truro with its excellent shopping and historical interest, Bodmin Moor with its brooding atmosphere and many ancient standing stones, as well as numerous NT Gardens and Historic Houses.

The hotel has direct access to the Cornish coastal path, which stretches for some 300 miles for its total length and provides wonderful walking, wildlife and bird watching opportunities. The beaches are spectacular, with Newquay itself having many separate and varied bays including both quieter coves as well as the wide and sandy beaches which offer a range of activities.
