Poppies is one of the Highcliffe Cottages at Trebetherick
situated between Daymer Bay and Polzeath.
Poppies is a modern, bright and spacious Self Catering
cottage sleeping up to six people (plus full size cot), in three bedrooms.
Downstairs the kitchen and living area is open plan. There
is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, cooker, dishwasher, washer/dryer
etc. Table and chairs.
The living area has comfortable seating. TV, Video, DVD
player, Radio and fire. The heating is electric. There are two twin bedded
rooms downstairs. (One has 2ft. 6" beds), along with shower room
and WC. Rear door leads onto a private patio with table and chairs and
communal lawns.
Upstairs is the large double bedroom, with full size cot
and TV. There is also a single bedroom and the main large bathroom.
Duvets and pillows are provided. Highchair and stairgates
available. Electricity and heating are included.
Local Area -
Daymer Bay is just a on the tip of The Camel Estuary, which
is set around the North Cornish coast. The estuary winds five miles south
towards Wadebridge and up to a mile wide going between Rock and Padstow.
Visitors can hire bicycles from Padstow and cycle along the Camel Trail
cycle route which stretches from Bodmin Moor to Padstow
Trebetherick and Daymer Bay are set in an area much loved
by Sir John Betjeman. St. Enodoc Church, is the last resting place of
the Great Poet Laureate.
There are many great cliff walks along the stunning Cornish
Coastline and for those avid walkers a breathtaking spectacular encounter
awaits.
