Polgover Farm is an absolutely stunning farmhouse dating
back to the 16th century, located on a 100 acre sheep farm. Lovingly
and beautifully restored, the house contains a wealth of original
period features including flagstone floors and open fireplaces but
it is also fully modernised and comfortably furnished.
The house is set in beautiful gardens with views over
the picturesque Cornish countryside.
For a relaxing evening guests can either enjoy the
peaceful surroundings and stunning countryside from the gardens
or relax in the 17th Century wood-panelled TV lounge.
There is always a warm welcome with personal attention
in providing quality ensuite bed and breakfast
holiday accommodation. This quiet rural location offers spectacular
views over the magnificent Cornish Countryside, and yet only 4 miles
from the beach and coastal path. A perfect place for a peaceful
and relaxing holiday. Visitors will find the farmhouse situated
300 yards down our own private drive just off the B3252 liskeard
- looe road.
The house is set in an ideal position for touring
the whole of Cornwall and the beaches
on a stunning coast-line, superb walks, recreational facilities,
excellent restaurants, friendly pubs and many well known tourist
attractions are but a short distance away.

At Polgover farm we offer three rooms for Bed and Breakfast use,
2 doubles and 1 twin.
These rooms are all individually decorated and of exceptional quality
and standard.
All rooms have colour TV's, clock radios, hairdryers, Cornish bottled
water, tea and coffee making facilities which consists of a kettle,
tea, coffee, sugar, cups and saucers and milk, all you need for
that revitalising cuppa after a long day.
All rooms also have central heating (for the colder months).
The rooms have en-suite facilities or private bathroom, all with
towels, complimentary toiletries, face cloths and a shaver point.
Polgover Farm is a NO smoking house.

whole of Cornwall, South Devon and Dartmoor
The historic town of Looe is only 4 miles away and
Polperro is 8 miles.
There are many more beautiful beaches along the coasts.
Local beaches include, Talland Bay, Fowey, Seaton, and Whitsand
bay
Local activities include; shark, sea fishing &
boat trips from Looe quay, golf, tennis and horse riding all available
nearby. Other local attractions include Bodmin moor, coastal path
walks, many national trust properties, Heligan gardens and of course
the world renowned Eden project.
Cornwall’s unique mixture of natural coastal
and moorland beauty combined with some wonderful beaches and award
winning Attractions means that it cannot be beaten as a holiday
destination.

- BERTH CARAVAN - SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION

The spacious 6 berth caravan is situated on the farm in its own garden,
with a safe grassed play and picnic area surrounded by trees. There
is ample parking space around the caravan.
The caravan has main services connected, electricity
is by a fifty pence meter. In the spacious lounge there is an 'L'
shaped dralon covered seating area, cupboards, heater and a colour
television.
The table area can be converted into a double bed or a single on
the lounge settee if required. All upholstery conforms to fire safety
regulations. The kitchen has floor and wall cupboards, worktops,
microwave and a stainless steel sink with hot and cold water. There
is a full size electric cooker and refrigerator. The kitchen is
well equipped with china, cutlery, glasses and saucepans.
The bathroom includes a shower/bath, washbasin both with hot and
cold water and a flush toilet.
There are two bedrooms, one being a double with wardrobe, wall
cupboards and a shaver point, the second having twin beds and also
there is a child's overhead fold up bunk bed and a wardrobe. All
beds are supplied with pillows, duvets and bed linen. Personal linen
is not supplied e.g. towels, tea towels, tablecloths etc.
The caravan is let on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday. Short
breaks are available out of season depending on availability. Pets
are most welcome provided they are kept under control. Pets must
however never be left in the caravan alone. Should you book the
caravan for your holiday, upon receipt of your deposit, confirmation
will be sent with details on how to reach us. The final payment
would be gratefully appreciated if paid 28 days prior to your holiday.

From Plymouth (the North) .....
Travel along the A38 to Trerulefoot roundabout,
then the third exit for Liskeard and continue for approximately
three miles. Turn left for Looe on the B3251 and carry on
for two miles to crossroads. Turn left onto the B3252 and
carry on for another half a mile where Polgover farm is on
the right hand side.

From Liskeard (the South) ....
Travel along the A38 towards Plymouth. About
two miles after Liskeard turn right onto the B3252 for Looe
and carry on for another two miles where you will find Polgover
farm on the right hand side.
