Nestled in the beautiful rural hamlet of St Hilary Churchtown,
'Pippin Cottage' is the ideal place to relax, unwind and explore the beautiful
beaches and countryside in the South West of Cornwall.
Whether you are looking for a warm and sunny holiday or
a romantic winter's retreat, Pippin Cottage is ideally situated to be
close enough to the outside world but tucked away enough not to be interrupted
by it.
This pretty double fronted cottage offers warmth and charm
enjoying outstanding far reaching uninterrupted rural views. It has a
beautiful large conservatory over looking the garden with superb views
beyond, a large comfortable lounge with open beams and gas fire and a
good sized well equipped kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms offering King-size
bed, double bed and twin beds with a large bathroom comprising bath with
shower over, sink, WC as well as a separate cloakroom. All rooms are centrally
heated throughout and are decorated and furnished with taste and comfort
in mind.
To the rear of the property is a large sunny garden with
well stocked flower beds and patio area. Garden furniture is supplied
and there is a secure storage shed ideal for those wishing to bring their
bikes or surfboards!
A small welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits,
bottle of wine and local paper awaits your arrival to help you unwind
from your journey.
St Hilary Churchtown
is a small, quiet and very pretty hamlet with a quaint granite church,
located just half a mile from Goldsithney
by car or a quarter of a mile by foot. Goldsithney offers a well stocked
newsagents and village shop selling local produce, a post office and 2
pubs which offer a good choice of menu.
It is approx 1.5 mile from the ancient market town of Marazion
and just 2 miles from a number of sandy beaches ; Praa
Sands - excellent for the surfers, Perranothnoe,
Marazion famous for St
Michaels Mount and the more secluded coves of Prussia
and Acton Castle.
Ideally situated for the spectacular coastal walks or the
more sedate country strolls being just a 10 minute walk to 'Friendship
woods' which if followed one way can take you to Marazion cross country!
For those of you wishing to have a more energetic time, it is a great
location to begin any mountain bike adventure with tracks and trails galore!
Being centrally located with Porthcurnoe
and its famous Minack Theatre, Lands
End and Cape Cornwall
in one direction and St Ives,
The Cathedral City of Truro, and The
Lizard Peninsula in the other!
