Built around 1849, Pentrew is a traditional granite cottage located in a tranquil spot on the wild Cornish coast; just north of St Just and within easy reach of Sennen, St Ives, Penzance and Lands End.

Standing in a secluded garden beside a no-through road, Pentrew enjoys spectacular far-reaching views over countryside and open sea to the Isles of Scilly. The cottage is within walking distance of both village amenities and spectacular cliff-top walks; with stunning sunsets you will never forget!

The area is designated one of Outstanding Natural Beauty, of great historic value, of great scientific value and is part of the Heritage Coastline.

Pentrew Cottage is a warm comfortable home whatever the season, with a multi fuel burner running a central heating system, backed up with night storage heaters. Trewellard is an ideal base for exploring this most unspoilt part of Cornwall. Within walking distance are Pendeen Watch Lighthouse and Portheras Cove, Kenidjack Iron Age cliff castle, Geevor Mining Museum and Cape Cornwall ( England's only cape).

Short car journeys will take you to places such as bustling Penzance, arty St Ives, the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole, Marazion and iconic St Michael's Mount, Porthcurno and the famous clifftop Minack Theatre, and Sennen Cove with its long stretch of golden sand.

For those who love walking , there are nearly 30 miles of coastal footpath between Trewellard and Penzance and 12 miles between Trewellard and St Ives.
