ACCOMMODATION
The kitchen -
always the heart of the house. The Aga is the focal point of the kitchen,
the place where everyone gathers, glass of wine in hand, to talk about
their day. A hard walk, a gentle paddle, great surf or plans for tomorrows
picnic on the beach. Fully equipped, with everything a kitchen should
have. In addition to the Aga, there is an electric oven and hob and a
microwave.
The sitting room
- a huge picture window gives an uninterrupted view across Lundy Bay,
towards Tintagel Head and out to sea. The view is exceptional and everyone
who visits Oyster Bay is captivated by it. The view changes continually
with the light, the time of day and the seasons. Winter storms see huge
Atlantic rollers crashing against the cliff on the other side of the bay
and summer days see glittering blue and the occasional visiting dolphin.
Bedroom one -
a king-size double bed provides comfort and a good nights sleep.
The bedroom also has an enormous picture window and from here you can
see the tide sweep into and out of Port Gaverne below. There is a built
in wardrobe and a chest of drawers with matching bedside tables &
a bedside light on each one. There is a hairdryer, an alarm clock radio,
and television with built in DVD player.
Bedroom two -
a queen-size bed, original wooden floor boards with natural sisal rugs,
a wardrobe and chest of drawers and bedside tables with a bedside light.
There is also a hairdryer and large mirror.
Bedroom three
- a cosy twin bedroom with a bedside table and bedside light. There is
a small wardrobe with cupboard above.
Bedroom four -

or adults. There is a chest of drawers with large mirror on the wall above.
Wonderful views out to sea to the left and the countryside and fields
to the right
All bedrooms have freshly laundered crisp white cotton
bed linen included. You will also find fluffy white cotton bath towels
folded at the end of your bed.

cabinet with shaver point and a chrome towel warmer. Cornish slate flooring
and white tongue & groove make this contemporary bathroom both relaxing
and comfortable.
Bathroom two -

a Cornish slate floor, is fully tiled and has a chrome towel warmer. There
is also a shaver point. A lavatory and washbasin complete the set in this
modern bathroom.
At the flick of a switch there is under floor heating for
both bathrooms, you never have to step out of the bath or shower onto
a cold wet floor, winter or summer its as warm as you want it to
be.
Oyster Bay is situated in a private residential road. Its
a quiet location yet just a short stroll down to the harbour takes you
into the heart of Port Isaac. There is off street parking for two cars.
The wooden deck area is ideal for a barbecue and the garden chairs, table
and parasol are perfect for long lazy lunches or evening al fresco dinners.
On the sea side of the house there is a large
Cornish slate terrace. A cup of coffee, taking in the morning sun, looking
out to sea and planning the day ahead is a quiet pleasure. There is a
mature garden with coastal hardy plants and grassy lawn. On a clear day
you can see the coast all the way up to Devon and occasionally a glimpse
of Lundy Island on the horizon.
