traveling from Lands End to John O Groats
A warm welcome awaits you at Outer Retallick,
with spacious rooms tastefully decorated to compliment the style of this
100 year old farmhouse. A modern working farm with 500 acres for guests
to enjoy, with farm tours available on request.
Accommodation consists of one large double
and one large family bedroom,both have tvs,radios,hairdryers and hospitality
trays,with adjoining private bathroom.
A full English breakfast or a lighter alternative
is served in the sunny dining room, fresh local produce is used including
our own free range eggs, homemade preserves and honey from our own fields,
there is also a guests lounge..
Situated in mid Cornwall this is an ideal area
for touring the county, with Cornwall's Crealy just a stones throw away,
the ancient fishing port of Padstow is 6 miles away, with many
lovely sandy beaches close by. The seaside resort of Newquay is 8 miles
and we are ideally situated for airport transfers. The Eden project 10
miles, is proving to be one of Cornwall's top attractions. There are beautiful
National Trust houses in the area, Lanhydrock, near Bodmin and Trerice
near Newquay are splendid examples. The city of Truro is 16 miles away
with a pleasant shopping area and impressive cathedral. If you wish to
travel further a field, Flambards theme park, St Michael's Mount
and the Tate Modern gallery are all approx 1 hour away to the west of
the county.
