decorated to compliment the style of this 100 year old farmhouse. A modern
working farm with 500 acres for guests to enjoy, with farm tours available
Accommodation consists of
- one large double room
- one large family room
with 1 double and 1 single bed (suitable for child under 12).
Both rooms have private adjoining facilities,
garden views with hospitality trays, hairdryers, tvs ,alarm clocks,
comfortable beds and excellent WIFI access.
A delicious Cornish Breakfast is cooked to
order using fresh local produce, and served in our spacious sunlounge.
Situated in mid Cornwall this is an ideal
area for touring the county, with Cornwall's Camel Creek just a stones throw
away, the ancient fishing port of Padstow is 6 miles away,
with many lovely sandy beaches close by. The seaside resort of Newquay
is 8 miles and we are ideally situated for airport transfers. The
Eden project 10 miles, is proving to be one of Cornwall's top attractions.
There are beautiful National Trust houses
in the area, Lanhydrock, near Bodmin and Trerice near Newquay are splendid
examples. The city of Truro is 16 miles away with a pleasant shopping
area and impressive cathedral. If you wish to travel further a field,
Flambards theme park, St Michael's Mount and the Tate Modern gallery
are all approx 1 hour away to the west of the county.

15 Cornwall restaurant at Watergate bay with breathtaking
views over the Atlantic Ocean, and Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant at Padstow
Truro: while Corsham in Wiltshie doubled
as Truro for filming, the city itself was Winston Graham's inspiration.
Porthcothan Bay: is just 5 miles away,
a rugged Cornish cove playing the role of Nampara cove, with many
stunning clifftop scenes.
St Agnes Head: with its iconic engine houses perched on cliff otherwise
known as Nampara Valley
Botallack - Levant: A stretch of the West Cornwall coast with breath
taking scenery, the perfect venue for Tresidder Mill and Wheal Leisure.
Charlestown: A fishing port near St Austell, with a grade 2 listed
harbour complete with tall ships.
Bodmin Moor: This features Ross Poldark's
cottage and many horseback scenes.
