Visitors are attracted for a variety of reasons, it may be King Arthur of Daphne du Maurier, the many fine castles or secluded coves and fishing villages. Cornish folk tradition is still very strong and such events as the Helston Furry Dance and Padstow's Obby 'Oss have visitors from all over the world. The natural waters around Cornwall offers an abundance of activity, from sailing to surfing, skiing to dining or you can walk the coastal path all the way around from Hartland Point (just into Devon), on the north coast to the Cremyll Ferry which crosses the Tamar for Plymouth on the south coast.
