Cornwall has something for everyone, heritage, legend, beautiful scenery, rugged coastline and sandy beaches, it is no wonder that it is one of Britain's most popular tourist destinations. Visitors are attracted for a variety of reasons, it may be King Arthur of Daphne du Maurier, the many fine castles or secluded coves and fishing villages. Cornish folk tradition is still very strong and such events as the Helston Furry Dance and Padstow's Obby 'Oss have visitors from all over the world.
