Self-catering Holiday Cottage in Padstow Sleeps 6 people
Old School Court is a small development of holiday homes in Padstow, Cornwall. Only a few minutes walk from Padstow harbour on the north Cornish coast. Number 9 is one of the cottages that were built in the grounds of what was the Old Victorian School. Available for rent all year round and is let from Saturday to Saturday. We are afraid pets are not allowed and the house is non-smoking. The self catering accommodation comprises of a lounge/diner, fully fitted kitchen and downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor is a double room with en-suite facilities, a twin-bedded room and a further bedroom with bunk beds. There is also a family bathroom. There is private parking to the front and a fully enclosed south-facing rear garden with garden furniture and a barbecue. The house is built to a high standard with gas fired central heating. Other facilities include television, freeview, DVD, hi-fi, washer-drier, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven and microwave.
Padstow is situated on the Camel Estuary on the North Cornish coast with a working fishing port surrounded by spectacular beaches. Walk around Padstow and you will find the historic Parish Church, Prideaux Place, the Deer Park and several inns, a choice of restaurants including Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant as seen on BBC and a variety of shops to wander around. Surrounding Padstow is an area of natural beauty with lovely cliff and country walks plus a choice of many superb, sandy beaches including Tregirls, Trevone, Harlyn, Constantine and Treyarnon on one side of the estuary and Rock, Daymer and Polzeath Bays on the other. Around this area you will find some of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall. Rock is renowned for its sailing and the St Enodoc Golf Course. It is featured in many of Sir John Betjamin's poems. He is also buried in the grounds of St Enodoc Church on the edge of the golf course.
