As mentioned in our terms and conditions, we cannot accept dogs (but can recommend a local kennel offering a 'day release' scheme).

The Old Rectory is unsuitable for children below 11 years old, due to a deep pond in the garden.

The Old Rectory is a non-smoking house

Walkers will love the Lizard Peninsula

Bounded by the South West Coastal Path, The Lizard Peninsula offers wonderful clifftop views, a unique eco-system, and numerous welcoming pubs to keep you topped up along the way.

For gardeners, the area is a paradise.

There are numerous gardens and nurseries open to the public, as well as the Old Rectory's own garden, which we encourage our guests to enjoy.

Around an hour away are The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

For families, numerous attractions within the immediate vicinity include Flambards theme park, RNAS Culdrose, Goonhilly, the National Seal Sanctuary and many others.

This area offers something for everyone. Why not come and see for yourself?

ACCOMMODATION

The apartment runs the length of the house, and offers unusually spacious accommodation

Each of the bedrooms (one double, one twin), as well as the sitting room, opens via French windows onto a South-facing terrace overlooking the garden and valley.

Every attention has been given to our guests' comfort. Both bedrooms have private facilities (one shower room, one bathroom).

The sitting room has a log burner and comes equipped with TV, Video/DVD player and Radio/Tape/CD player.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you will need, including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, cooker, microwave and enough glassware and crockery for six people. An airing cupboard, iron and ironing board are provided.

Bedlinen and towels are provided.

The apartment is centrally heated, and our prices include heating between October and April (other times can be arranged, as necessary). The sitting room's log burner gives additional cosiness.

A separate phone line is also provided, invaluable in an area of the country where mobile reception can be patchy!

On the terrace, tables and chairs, a sun umbrella and a barbecue are all provided.
