Private and secluded with all the benefits
of a Bed & Breakfast
The
Flowershed offers its visitors a unique style of bed and breakfast
accommodation.
This timbered log cabin stands in its own gardens in
a secluded spot on the hillside overlooking the charming village of Mousehole.
Formerly a bulb store and flower shed for the smallholding which once
grew daffodils, violets and strawberries, it has now been transformed
into an original little place to stay.
Its peaceful location, rustic charm and relaxed atmosphere,
combined with easy access to the village of Mousehole and the surrounding
area, make it an ideal base for exploring Cornwall.
Mousehole, Newlyn and Penzance, have a fine selection of restaurants,
continental cafe-bars and traditional pubs, all offering excellent food.
Mousehole and Newlyn are especially well known for their freshly caught
seafood.
West Penwith offers some of Cornwall's most breathtaking
coastal and moorland scenery and an amazing concentration of ancient archaeological
monuments dating from the Bronze Age.
In the wider area, we are within easy travelling distance of the Tate,
St Ives, National Maritime Museum, Falmouth and the open air Minack Theatre
at Porthcurno.
Breakfast
A breakfast hamper is delivered to your door every morning containing
a continental style breakfast. You can choose when to eat and even to
treat yourself to breakfast in bed.
Open all year round, The Flowershed provides comfortable accommodation
in any season.
Enjoy the view over Mousehole and across Mounts Bay on a summers evening
from the timber decked veranda, with a bottle of wine or visit in December
to experience the magnificent Mousehole Christmas lights.
