Wake up to fresh air and great views, from the mew of a buzzard to the smell of freshly cut hay, the Comish countryside is waiting for you to discover it, here at Oakridge Farm. We offer an accessible yet secluded bolt-hole with some welcome peace and quiet.

A perfect location for families, nature lovers and walkers to explore the wonderful Cornish coast and countryside or simply soak in the scenery, peace and tranquillity. Our converted granary barn is family and pet friendly and you are very welcome to bring your well behaved dog.

We have a growing family of friendly farm animals. You can pat Snoopy the miniature Shetland pony and his companions, play with the rabbits, visit Cuthbert the cockerel and his wives or watch the wildlife.

Oakridge Farm is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and is well positioned for exploring this most spectacular of Cornwall`s coastlines, four miles from Perranporth and it`s magnificent 3-mile stretch of golden sands, and a similar distance from the smaller, beautiful beaches of Holywell, Crantock and West Pentire.

Goonhavern village, shop and pub are just over 1 mile away [there is also a good Garden Centre, and The World in Miniature!] St.Agnes, a lovely quaint old village, with a good, safe beach, rugged cliffs, 5 pubs!, several good art and craft shops and the Blue Hills tin mining centre is about 6 miles

The attractive county town and cathedral city of Truro [Wonderful SHOPS!] is just 6 miles, and Newquay, Cornwall`s premier resort and surfing capital is also 6 miles. Penzance, Land`s End and the Eden Project are no more than an hours drive away, as is Bodmin Moor.

HOLLY.

Holly offers convenient, spacious ground floor accommodation. Reached via an entrance from the farmyard, it has its own patio leading to the garden. It consists of an open- plan, beamed living room with kitchen and dining areas. The corridor leads to a bathroom with a shower over the bath a separate shower room and a room with bunk beds; then up two steps to a double bedroom with a 5 ft bed and to a twin-bedded room.

PINE.

Like Holly this comfortable ground floor property has its own patio leading to the garden, and an entrance from the farmyard. It consists of an open-plan beamed living room incorporating kitchen and dining areas, a double bedroom [4ft 6in bed], a twin bedded room and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

ELM.

This light and airy first floor apartment is reached from the garden via the old granary steps. It offers an open-plan high-beamed living room incorporating kitchen and dining areas. A corridor leads to a small bedroom with twin beds, a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a separate shower room. Continue up one step to a large double bedroom with a 4ft 6in bed and to another twin-bedded room with a sloping ceiling.

BEECH.

Like Elm this charming apartment is reached from the garden via the original external stone granary steps. It comprises an open-plan high-beamed living room with kitchen and dining areas, a double bedroom [5ft bed] a twin bedded room and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

ROWAN.

This cosy ground floor apartment adjoins our farmhouse and has its own private patio and entrance . The hallway has two steps leading down to a small lobby off which is the bathroom. Two steps up from the lobby is the bright studio living/sleeping area, with a four-poster bed [4ft6in], and a sitting area. Two steps down leads to a simple kitchen.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

  • Well equipped kitchens with gas cooker, fridge and microwave oven.
  • Colour T.V and electric fire in all living rooms.
  • Duvets and linen provided- bath and hand towels can be hired [£4 per set]
  • Electric heaters in all bedrooms.
  • Electric blankets on all double beds.
  • Twin and bunkbeds are 3ft wide.
  • Central heating in Rowan and night storage heating in Holly, Pine, Elm, and Beech.
  • Cot and high chair available on request in all family apartments [not Rowan].
  • Ample parking.
  • Games barn with pool table, table tennis, table football, and a small snooker table .
  • Gardens and play area; patio and garden furniture.
  • Communal laundry room with spin dryer and coin op washing machines and tumble dryers.
  • Course fishing can be arranged on neighbouring fishing lakes.
  • Portable barbecue for use in the grounds.
  • Up to two well-behaved dogs per apartment are welcome [small charge]
  • Snoopy the Shetland pony and other small animals.
  • Nearest village shop and pub in Goonhavern- 1 and a bit miles
  • Electricity by meter reading.

HOW NOT TO GET LOST FINDING US. - From the A30 take the B3285 signposted Perranporth and Goonhavern. Oak Ridge Farm is 1.3 miles further on, clearly marked on the left hand side, on a bend.
