Luxury Bed & Breakfast Accommodation near Helford
NUMBER 7EVEN offers one en-suite room with kingsize bed in a contemporary style, plus a double room with its own private bathroom, which has a more traditional charm. Breakfast includes fresh hot croissants, Danish pastries and toast made from a selection of local breads. Local homemade jams, marmalades, and honey are included, as well as Cornish clotted cream with a selection of cereals, yoghurts and fruit compote. Fresh seasonal fruit and fruit juices are also offered along with breakfast smoothies, and for those odd crisp mornings just before a long day's walk, a hot bowl of porridge (try it with a drizzle of runny honey). If you have a special dietary request, we will try our best to provide this for you. Both rooms are of a very high standard, and have plasma televisions with Freeview, plus DVD players. Tea making facilities are provided in your room, with a selection of teas (including fruit and organic herbal teas), coffee and drinking chocolate, plus complimentary locally produced apple/elderflower juice, handmade chocolates or fudge. Hand and bath towels / bath sheets are provided, but you will need to bring your own beach towels if required. For your added comfort, bathrobes and slippers are also included. LOCATION NUMBER 7EVEN is ideally situated for exploring the Helford River and its surrounding countryside, including the famous Frenchman's Creek. After your long day exploring, leave the car in our gated driveway and take a short two minute walk to our local restaurant, South Cafe. In summer it is open from 10.00am to late evening and serves wonderful meals, or just pop in for coffee, lunch or an afternoon cream tea. Manaccan has its own local shop and post office, our famous church with its 200 year old fig growing out of the wall, and its very own thatched pub, The New Inn. Just across the lane from us is an all weather tennis court for local use. Places to visit include Falmouth with its new Maritime Museum, and nearby Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens. Take a water taxi on the Helford River to Trebah or Glendurgan. |
