From its vantage point overlooking St Michael's Mount and the bay, Mount Haven Hotel has a distinctly contemporary feel, lending itself to a more informal, relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. It's a world away from the hustle and bustle of modern living, an oasis of peace and tranquility.

In 2001, when we took over the hotel, we embarked on a major refurbishment programme, which included knocking out entire walls and moving windows. The result is a light and airy, and very contemporary space that maximizes the stunning views afforded from our unique position.

The new Lounge Area is now the perfect setting to enjoy the breathtaking views across the bay. And when the weather's fine, which is often, the Terrace is a real sun-trap and an ideal spot to take morning coffees, lunch or an aperitif from our well stocked bar.

The bedrooms didn't escape our attentions either. Every room was demolished and rebuilt to create a warm and welcoming east-meets-west style, with beautifully appointed en-suite bathrooms.

Most rooms enjoy the stunning views over the bay from their own private balconies. The two specially designed Garden Rooms have private patios. We also created the Four-poster Room for all you romantics, and the Double Deluxe Room for when you want to really indulge yourself.

For the comfort of guests, the Hotel is now totally non-smoking.

Last, but by no means least, there is the Healing Room. With specialists treatments ranging from aromatherapy to Indian head massages, this is the place to unwind, relax and recharge your batteries.
