A warm welcome awaits you at Mount Douglas Farm Cottages, which are situated on a small quiet traditional farm, now mainly used for grazing horses.

Two delightful granite cottages on a quiet farm location only minutes from sandy beaches, local shops, restaurant s and St Ives. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Secluded garden with ample parking. Views over fields and woodlands. Near to all amenities.

In the immediate vicinity are attractive rural and coastal walks including Hayle estuary with its abundance of bird life, sea and freshwater fishing, golfing and windsurfing.

We have two delightful spacious granite cottages which are personally supervised. They are situated on a quiet farm and small livery yard with a woodland landscape set in a rural backdrop. Free range chickens, guinea fowl and horses make it a popular stay for families. There is plenty of space for children to explore. Ample parking is an added bonus outside each property.

The Cottage Sleeps 8 + Cot

The Cottage has four bedrooms, a master en suite, a double with shower and basin, a large double and twin bedded room, all located on the ground floor with a separate W.C.

Pine stairs lead to the spacious living area upstairs. A Balcony leading from the Lounge, with distant sea views can take in the early morning sun for breakfast or a BBQ and glass of wine in the evening.

The Cottage provides a comfortable accommodation with separate bathroom, large shower room fully equipped kitchen and dining area and private patio and garden.

The Tack Room Sleeps 4 + Cot

This is our newly built granite cottage providing two bedrooms, one double en-suite, one twin bedded room with shower and basin and a separate bathroom on the ground floor.

Pine flooring throughout. Pine stairs lead to a spacious open planned living area with open brick fireplace and kitchen. The views from here are delightful.

Private access, parking and enclosed garden will make it a popular holiday stay.

We are ideally situated to provide easy access to all local amenities.

Carbis Bay beach with its golden sands is within walking distance.

St Ives a traditional fishing town is just over 2 miles from us. In high season an hourly bus service is available to St Ives. The railway link from Carbis Bay is very picturesque and not to be missed.

St Ives boasts many attractions including four beautiful beaches, art studios and galleries
including The Tate at Porthmeor beach, interesting quaint shops, cafes and restaurants. Excellent surfing beaches makes St Ives a thriving tourist destination. Porth Kidney beach with its three miles of golden sands is a dog walkers paradise.

Because we are located in a rural area, fishing and walking coastal paths and moorlands are popular and accessible. Trencrom Hill can easily be reached from us. It has the highest view point in Penwith, so all coasts can be viewed from here.

Other destinations further afield include Lands End, National Trust properties such as Trengwainton Gardens, The Minnack Theatre at Porthcurno and St Michaels Mount.
