Menifters self-catering cottages are set in a beautiful part of Cornwall and have far reaching views to Falmouth Bay and across the countryside of the Lizard Peninsula. Situated on a hill in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and completely surrounded by farmland this is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of South West Cornwall.

From here you can easily reach such places as the Eden Project, St. Michael's Mount, St. Ives, Helford River, the Gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. Just over a mile away is Porthallow Cove and further afield but still just a short drive away are the beaches of Coverack, Church Cove, Kennack and Kynance.

Menifters offers the choice of four well-equipped and comfortable cottages. Converted from an old stone built farm building the cottages are set in gardens and paddocks extending to five acres.

There is ample parking for cars and boats an ideal place to relax and enjoy the stunning views and the peace and quiet of this part of Cornwall.

All cottages are Lizard Peninsula Tourism Association Inspected.

Electricity, heating and bed linen are included in the rental, but we do ask you to bring your own towels. A washing machine is available in the laundry room. One well-behaved dog is welcome in all the cottages, except the Hay Loft; we do however request that dogs do not roam free in the garden, and are not left unattended in the cottage.

The Cart Lodge sleeps 4

This is the largest of the cottages and can comfortably accommodate four adults. It is a single storey conversion of the cart shed and offers an open plan kitchen and lounge/diner. Leading off from the living area is the toilet/shower room and the bedrooms.

The larger bedroom has two single beds and has access to a small patio area at the rear of the cottage. The other bedroom has a double bed. At the front of the Cottage is a larger patio area with splendid views down to the sea, across to Falmouth Bay and along the Southern Coast of Cornwall.

The Hay Loft
Sleeps 4 (sorry no dogs)

This is a first floor barn conversion with far reaching views. Large granite steps at the rear of the building provide access: this may not be suitable for very young children. There is a small entrance lobby with toilet/shower room and single bedroom off. The bedroom has full size bunk beds. The lobby leads into an open plan lounge diner with kitchen situated off the dining area. The double bedroom is accessed from the lounge.

Dairy Cottage sleeps 2

This little cottage is below the Hay Loft and is our most recent conversion. The accommodation comprises a very comfortable lounge/diner and a well-equipped and spacious kitchen. Leading from the dining area is the double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There is a back door off the lounge providing access to the rear garden and a small paved area with garden furniture.

Amy Cottage sleeps 2

This is a single storey cottage and offers a spacious Lounge/dining area with the kitchen leading off. The back door from the kitchen leads onto a small patio area with table and chairs with access to the garden beyond. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. This cottage is slightly larger than Dairy Cottage.
