Villa is the original wing of a grand Georgian house situated on the quay overlooking
the historic port of Charlestown. This elegant house is decorated to the
exquisitely high standards you would expect from Antonia.
Built in the late 1700s, the port of Charlestown is
largely unchanged and is now home to three tall ships - Phoenix,
Kaskelot and the Earl of Pembroke. The beaches, either side
of the quay, are so close a toddler can walk it. Stroll over the
quays lock gate to the hotel for a crab sarnie on their terrace
or stay at home in the lovingly planted, south facing Courtyard
garden.
There
are three bedrooms (a super king, a king and a tiny double). The bedrooms have
style, comfort and attention to detail. Charlestown
is approximately 10 minutes from both the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of
Heligan. It is also ideally situated for visiting Fowey, the Maritime Museum in
Falmouth, the Tate at St Ives, Padstow, with Rick Stein’s and Newquay with
Jamie Oliver's Fifteen. Visit
