Explore the wild beauty of North Cornwall. A ten minute walk from the coast path or a ten minute drive from Newquay airport.

The Blue Bay Hotel is a two-star family-run hotel with a licensed restaurant, located halfway between Newquay and Padstow at Mawgan Porth. Ideally situated for easy access to beautiful beaches and major tourist attractions, we are at the heart of any Cornish experience.

Mawgan Porth's magnificent beach is a 500 yard walk away and we have stunning views across the ocean from our garden deck and restaurant.

The village has a pub, restaurant, shop and newsagent along with a Pitch & Putt course and tennis courts. A good 18-hole golf course and riding stables are a short drive away. We are a ten minute walk from the stunning South West Coast Path.

ACCOMMODATION

We have nine rooms ranging from singles/ doubles to Garden Rooms, which have French doors out to the garden, or to a Family Suite with two separate bedrooms within it.

Sea views are available from some rooms and all are decorated with a modern beachy style. All rooms are ensuite, with tea and coffee-making facilities, wi-fi internet access, clock radios and colour televisions.

We accept dogs for a small fee.

BAR AND LOUNGE

The bar and lounge area has a panoramic view over the sea and surrounding area. The bar is well-stocked with a wide variety of spirits, local real ales and lager. We have a hand-picked wine list with wines from around the globe. Guests are welcome to relax in the lounge any time of the day.

RESTAURANT

Breakfast

Breakfast is served to guests between 08:45 and 10:00 each day and includes fruit juices, cereals, toast, croissants, tea or coffee and a Full Cornish breakfast.

Evening Meals

The restaurant overlooks the Atlantic and is the perfect place to watch the sun go down. It is open to both guests and the public in the evening from 19:00 to 21:00. All meals are cooked to order, using locally produced ingredients wherever possible. Our menu changes daily and features a selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Special diets can be catered for. Please book early to avoid disappointment, particularly at peak holiday times.

GARDEN AND SUN DECK

Our sun deck and garden are open to all guests to enjoy, with views over the ocean. Drinks and evening meals can be served outside on request. The deck is the perfect place to relax after a long hard day at the beach.
