MOORINGS
Rock - (sleeps 6 + 2)
Friday to Friday

A spacious three bedroom house located centrally in Rock
village with immediate access to Rock Bakery, Rock Butcher's and all other
shop amenities within 1 minutes walk, including the best Fish and Chips
in the area.
Moorings has been recently completely re-furbished as
a holiday home so the standard is as high as you will find as well as
being homely and comfortable.
There is a large secure garden to the rear with mature
trees and shrubs and total privacy guaranteed for those summer evening
barbecues after a day sailing, wind surfing, waterskiing, surfing, cycling
or just lazing about on the huge sandy beaches that Rock and Daymer Bay
keep so secret.
Polzeath is just under 2 miles from Moorings and provides
the surfing culture and lifestyle that brings people back year after year
to enjoy the sport and it's laid back atmosphere.and airing cupboard.
Just a short walk brings you to the Padstow Ferry which
will take you from the soft sand of Rock beach to the centre of this enchanting
famous fishing port where you can sample the delights of Rick Stein's
fish and chips or just wander the narrow streets with their little shops
and galleries. Here too you can hire bikes and cycle the flat Camel Trail
that follows the river upstream with commanding views of the sandy estuary.
We are near to the excellent St Enedoc golf course at
Rock and a 50min drive from The Eden Project.
UPSTAIRS:
Three bedrooms: one king-size double with wardrobe and
drawers, one large twin room (3' & 4' beds) with the same and one bunk
room with chunky 3' pine bunks and chest of drawers. Bathroom with bath
& shower head, toilet, sink and airing cupboard.
DOWNSTAIRS:
Large welcoming hall with stairs leading off. Light airy
kitchen with wooden floors leading to big utility room and extra bathroom
on ground floor with shower, toilet and sink. Off the hall there is a
large dining room leading through double doors to a sunny sitting room
which looks out over the mature garden and private lawn. Double doors
lead from the dining room and sitting room onto a suntrap area of decking
which then steps down to the level lawn and garden.
Off road parking for up to three cars and space for your
own boat if needed. A garage provides further storage space for beach
or surfing gear.
