Lower
Gurtla Farm is a typical Cornish farmhouse with much character and charm.
It is idyllically set on the edge of Breney Common Nature Reserve within
walking distance of Helman Tor a Neolithic outcrop
with far reaching views, a perfect spot for walkers, riders and nature
lovers alike. There is much local wildlife. Local horse riding is available.
The farmhouse is also situated on the
Saint's Way for keen walkers. The outside space consists of a paddock
with stunning views of the Tor and has pretty gardens with free roaming
hens and there is a patio for guest's use.
The Eden Project is 10 minutes
away and the stunning Luxulyan valley with its interesting history as
well very close. Beautiful beaches like Lantic Bay
a 20-minute drive with the towns of Fowey and Lostwithiel (the antiques
capital of Cornwall) on the doorstep. The oldest pub in Cornwall, The
Crown Inn Lanlivery similarly only two and a half miles away. Lanhydrock
a stunning National Trust property 15 minutes drive, there are
several public gardens close by.
The property has a double room with separate private
bathroom , comprising bath and shower cubicle. The room has T.V and tea
and coffee making facilities and hair dryer. Breakfast choices from light
continental to light cooked for example smoked salmon and scrambled egg,
to Full English all served at the farmhouse kitchen table.
There is a friendly cat and dog at the property and we
look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful Cornish retreat......
