The spacious and individually designed bedrooms have been created from old Cornish buildings with their mellowed stone and beamed ceilings. The mood of rural tranquillity is reflected in the delightful country pine furniture. Each room has colour TV, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and a luxurious bathroom. The 18 hole golf course is one of the most interesting and varied in the county. Designed to take full advantage of the natural features of the landscape, it combines two distinctive areas of hillside and valley. The challenging front nine rewards you with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside while the picturesque back nine runs through leafy parkland flanked by the silver waters of the Fowey . There are exceptional all year round practice facilities, including a driving range with undercover and grass bays, putting greens and practice bunkers.

As part of the Leisure Club facilities the hotel has two all weather tennis Courts and a superb indoor swimming pool.Guests have honorary Leisure Club membership during their stay.

The wide variety of first class leisure facilities makes for very successful corporate days. Activities can include golf, fishing swimming, tennis and clay pigeon shooting. For those keen on keeping fit there is the gym and the members lounge has a full size snooker table.

In association with the Lostwithiel Angling Association, keen anglers can enjoy excellent salmon and trout fishing on the river Fowey, bordering the hotel grounds.

Dine in style in the Black Prince restaurant where imaginative and interesting menus put the emphasis on fresh local produce supported carefully selected wine list. Delicious light meals and snacks also available in the bar both at lunch time and in the evening.

With its peaceful setting in 150 acres, its well equipped conference rooms and excellent banqueting facilities, the hotel is a perfect choice for small residential conferences, day meetings and seminars. There are three different conference rooms, providing the ideal size venue for meetings from 20 to 140 delegates. We are also able to cater for wedding reception and those other special occasions that arise.
