A highly recommended luxury self catering holiday property available to let in Cornwall. Downderry is a popular Cornish seaside village enjoying breathtaking unspoilt coastline & countryside. Good local day-to-day facilities are in abundance at Downderry with a general store, Post Office, traditional inn with lovely sea views Blueplate the newly opened restaurant by local check Nick Barclay already creating quite a stir since its opening in October 2009. For those who enjoy walking, the coastal paths provide plenty of opportunities with nearby Seaton, Looe, Talland Bay & onto the 13th Century fishing village of Polperro. LOUNGE/DINER - The lounge/diner is very spacious and light and airy with lovely sea views. Both sets of French doors lead to the balcony, which runs the full length of the property, affording fantastic sea views to Looe Island and beyond. This is fitted with patio furniture, the railing is marine grade stainless steel and fitted with safety glass. The lounge has plush leather sofas with cushions, chairs and pouffe for 8, occasional tables, wall mounted flat screen TV with satellite channels, wireless broadband internet connection and telephone. The dining area has a dining table and chairs for 8, sideboard, lamps, ornaments and pictures. There are good sea views when seated at the dining table.
TIMBER DECKED VIEWING PLATFORM WITH MILES OF BREATHTAKING SEA VIEWS - this is accessed at the side of the property which offers miles of sea views. There is patio furniture should you decide to dine alfresco or relax and enjoy the sea views. Please note that there are steep steps to the viewing platform which is not suitable for children under 12, there is a gate at the bottom. FAMILY ENSUITE BEDROOM (SLEEPS 3) - There are lovely sea views from this ensuite bedroom. The ensuite has a quality double shower, wash basin, mirror and WC. There is a 5ft double bed, quality corner settee (positioned to make the most of the sea views with large telescope on tripod for long distance viewing) which converts into a single bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables, lamps and mirror. Bed linen & towels are provided and included in the rental tariff. DOUBLE BEDROOM 2 (SLEEPS 2) - There are lovely sea views from this bedroom. There are French doors, a 4ft 6" double bed, bedside tables, lamps, mirror, wardrobe & chest of drawers. Bed linen is provided and included in the rental tariff. DOUBLE BEDROOM 3 (SLEEPS 2) - Lovely countryside and valley views. There are 2 twin beds, bedside tables, lamps, mirror, wardrobe & chest of drawers. Bed linen is provided and included in the rental tariff. TRIPLE BEDROOM - (SLEEPS 3) - There are countryside views from this bedroom. There is a 4ft 6" unusual double bed with single bed above, storage drawers below bed, bedside tables, wardrobe & chest of drawers. Bed linen is provided and included in the rental tariff.
FAMILY BATHROOM - The family bathroom has a quality walk in shower, bath, wash basin, mirror & WC. Towels are provided and included in the rental tariff. Good leisure sporting facilities are all within easy reach, such as the stunning cliffside 18 hole golf course at Whitsand Bay, which also boasts an impressive pool, sauna and restaurant.
