The pretty harbourside village of St Mawes nestles on the coast of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula with its gentle climate and stunning views of Falmouth Bay and beyond - a safe haven for sailors.

Apart from the two safe beaches in the village, more sandy beaches and coves are to be found off the National Trust coastal paths in the Roseland.

A regular passenger ferry goes across the bay to the bustling town of Falmouth (Maritime Museum and many restaurants) and another ferry crosses to Place Manor (beautiful walks). A short drive away is St Just in Roseland (one of the most beautiful churches in the UK), plus King Harry car ferry (Trelissick Gardens, Truro). The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and many more attractions are easily accessible.
