Just outside of Trebarwith Strand is the beautiful haven of Lavender Cottage, where you will receive a warm welcome in this family run B and B.

Lavender Cottage is ideally placed to explore many of Cornwall’s breathtaking coastlines and attractions, or to simply take time out.

ACCOMMODATION

The delightful accommodation on offer caters for various tastes and comprises of either double or twin rooms with either single metal bedsteads, dressed with sumptuous fine quality bedding for that little extra bit of luxury & comfort.

This character property was formerly a row of miners cottages that has over the years been eventually being converted into one property and enjoys a sheltered position from the prevailing winds whilst suitably capturing plenty of early morning or evening warm sunshine during the summer months. Dapple shade from the mature trees within the gardens do offer some relief if sought.

The main garden has plenty of seating areas, both on and off the lawn areas. The rear of the property faces due east, that captures the warm early morning sunshine during the peak summer months. Guests are invited, should they so wish, to take breakfast “al fresco” style on the paved patio .

This character property does offer a lot of charm with two fireplaces and wood burners that are lit during the colder evenings, as well as oil fired central heating in all rooms.

Please be aware for your safety that the cottage does have limited headroom in places, especially on the stairs, but this should not deter your enjoyment of your stay in our very cosy surroundings.

LOCATION

The Cottage is directly on the B3263 Tintagel Road (off the B3314) located only one & half miles from the beautiful rugged coastline, but yet being very accessible to the A39 main road between Bude & Wadebridge.

This location offers the perfect base to visit the vast area surrounding with all its attractions or the raw natural beauty of the spectacular coastline, sandy beaches and the nearby towns/ village of Bude, Wadebridge, Port Isaac, & Tintagel, Boscastle with their own particular character & interest.
