This lovely grade 2 listed Georgian Manor House, built of granite by my family in 1827 in a quiet and peaceful setting overlooking the Fowey River, offers a marvellous centre from which to explore all parts of Cornwall and South West Devon.

Surrounded by the home farm of 110 acres of the Fowey Valley, all the properties are a few hundred yards from the Manor House and have gardens. From the gardens you can look down to our private river bank on which you may fish or take a walk. The cattle and sheep on our farm will often come to greet you and be of constant amusement to you and your family.

We offer accommodation with character which is inspected annually by the English Tourist Board and has been rated as 4 or 5 Keys Commended or Highly Commended.

We have an 18 hole pitch and putt course in the cider orchard, a barbecue beside the mill pool, and a games room with table tennis, darts and swing ball. The grass tennis court has a children's play area within sight, with swings and seesaw, Tennis rackets, dinghy and fishing rods may be hired. In Lostwithiel we have Restormel Castle, a local museum, several antique shops and a sports centre with badminton, squash and short tennis. Nearby at Bodmin there are indoor tennis courts, a swimming pool and leisure centre. Horse riding and pony trekking, fly or coarse fishing or a day's golf are available in the vicinity. Cornwall and South Devon offer you scenery, history and adventure. At Lanwithan you are comfortably central to reach theme parks or National Trust houses, beautiful gardens or safe sandy coves, to walk on breathtaking clifftops or visit the many famous and picturesque fishing villages.
