The bedrooms are bright and comfortably furnished, all with TVs and tea & coffee making facilities.

  • Bedroom 2 (ground floor,) overlooking the garden has twin beds and spacious en-suite shower, wash hand basin and WC.
  • Bedroom 3 (ground floor), overlooking the garden has a king size bed and en-suite shower room with wash hand basin and WC.

Breakfast is served upstairs in the light airy dining room with French windows leading to the balcony, overlooking fields and the Camel Estuary.

Padstow and North Cornwall. Padstow is a picturesque working fishing port offering a variety of shops, pubs and eating houses including Rick Stein's famous Seafood Restaurant. His cookery school is situated on the quayside. The surrounding beaches and bays are some of the finest in Cornwall, whether you like to surf or walk the coastal paths. The nearby Camel Trail, a disused railway line, is ideal for cycling and is a haven for birdwatchers. Bicycles can be hired locally.

If you are a keen golfer Trevose, St. Enodoc and Roserrow Golf Clubs are nearby. The Camel Estuary provides an ideal spot for sailing, water-skiing and wind surfing. Prideaux Place situated in Padstow is an Elizabethan house and Deer Park and having been a popular film location is well worth a visit.

There is a ferry service across to Rock on the opposite side of the estuary where a walk takes you to St. Enodoc church, which was once buried in the sand, the final resting place of Sir John Betjeman. A water taxi is available in the evening should you like to try one of the restaurants.
