Set in the heart of some of North Cornwall's most
beautiful countryside, Keresen is a modern detached house just half
a mile from the centre of Wadebridge - gateway 'to the best' that
Cornwall has to offer.
This is a prime location for any visit to Cornwall.
The famous Camel Trail cycle track, runs through Wadebridge; north
along a level track skirting the edges of the scenic Camel Estuary
to Padstow and the coast, and south to the more rugged tracks that
lead up onto Bodmin Moor. There are several cycle hire shops in
Wadebridge.
By car, Keresen is just 6 miles from the awe inspiring
scenery of Cornwall's North Coast. An area famed for its coastal
walks and beautiful sandy beaches, such as Polzeath and Rock.
This is the land that influenced the poet and writer Sir John Betjeman.
You can explore the quaint fishing villages of Port Isaac
and Boscastle, visit the beautiful church at St. Enodoc
- reclaimed from the estuaries encroaching sands and now the final
resting place of Sir John Betjeman.
The Eden Project is within easy reach (only
14 miles away), as are many historic houses and gardens, such as
Lanhydrock House near Bodmin (the National Trust's most visited
property), Trerice and Pencarrow.
For the golf enthusiast, Cornwall has much to offer,
locally there are many courses available - idyllic locations and
stunning views are the epitome of the game in Cornwall
The city of Truro lies just 25 miles to the
West- Cornwall's charming pocket-sized city of elegant Georgian
buildings, cobbled alley ways and a myriad of interlinking lanes,
set at the head of the Truro River which flows down to Falmouth
and out into the Carrick Roads.
Nestling amongst the shops and houses you will discover
Truro cathedral, completed as recently as 1910. Visit a few of Truro's
increasing number of tearooms, bistros and pubs where you can take
time out to watch the world go by.
