Holiday Caravan Homes are all of superior quality, comfort and cleanliness. Each has a shower and toilet en-suite, hob and oven, fridge, gas heating and colour television. We ask you to bring your own linen, otherwise everything else is provided. Touring Caravans, Tents and Motor Caravans have spacious level pitches with some hard standings and electric hook ups. Our well appointed toilet facilities have separate shower rooms, heated in the off season, including facilities for the disabled, hair and hand dryers, a campers' wash-up and chemical disposal point. The Bunk Barn
is completely self-contained and provides a comfortable cost-effective
alternative to camping. You have your own bedroom and share the shower
and kitchen with other guests. Ideal for walkers, climbers, back packers,
bird watchersand small groups up to 8 in number. Park Amenities include a laundry room with automatic washing machine, tumble and spin dryers and ironing facilities. Adjoining is a public telephone and small shop, where all essentials are available, including Calor and Camping Gaz. We also have a dining shelter for campers. Children have a separate play area and table tennis. They can also explore in the bluebell glade and visit our loveable donkey "Thistle" and Shetland "Pedro". Pets are welcome. There is a separate exercise area. We also offer some 'pet free' holiday homes. Short Breaks are now very popular. Why not visit in the spring and experience the breathtaking drifts of wild flowers on the cliffs, or in the autumn and chance the sight of rare migrant birds - the area around Cot Valley is particularly noted for both. Where to go and what to see. Being in the centre of an area of outstanding natural beauty, all the attractive parts of the Land's End and Lizard peninsulas are easily reached. Walks on the most beautiful cliffs in Britain are close to hand, along with Land's End itself of course. Day trips to the Isles of Scilly have been a popular choice of late as have the scenic flights from nearby Land's End aerodrome. A coastal bus service passes near to the Park during the summer months. We are ideally placed for you to explore the ancient villages, standing stones and tin mining heritage of West Penwith such as Levant Steam Engine and Geevor Mine, as well as being central for rock climbing and bird watching. Indoor swimming and leisure facilities plus mountain bike hire and golf can all be arranged locally in St Just - a mile away. The town also has a good selection of shops and pubs, which welcome families and a frequent bus service provides a link to Penzance. Priest's Cove at Cape Cornwall is our local fishing cove, whilst the magnificent surfing beach at Sennen Cove is a short drive away. |
