Luxury Bed & Breakfast
in Carbis Bay - St Ives

Felicity
and Jamie Robertson bring their 12 years experience owning the Nansidwell
Hotel on the Helford River in Cornwall, to their bed and breakfast venture
next door to St. Ives at Carbis Bay.
ACCOMMODATION
The newly renovated 1920s Cornish villa
has large, light and airy rooms with stunning sea views sweeping across
the bay from Godrevy Lighthouse, St. Ives to Gwinnith Sands and the Hayle
Estuary.
All rooms have sea views, their own private
bathroom with good-sized bath, T.V. and all the personal touches one would
expect such as fresh flowers, books and magazines. All our beds are super
king sized (twins and doubles) with Egyptian cotton linen and proper sized
bath towels. Heavenly scented soap and shampoo are made locally and yes,
we can tell you how to find Jean if you want to take some home.
Breakfasts include freshly squeezed orange
juice, homemade preserves and locally sourced organic farm produce wherever
possible. Elegant dining room with large round table and large windows
looking across bay.
Although we do not provide an evening meal
there are a number of excellent and varied places to try. St. Ives has
always been renowned as a fishing village and boats still fill the harbour
with Smeatons Pier the preserve of the towns fishing community.
Fish are landed, nets are mended and the community provide fresh local
seafood to the many acclaimed local restaurants and pubs in the area.
LOCATION
Carbis Bay
Beach is wide and sheltered and has soft golden sand. It is an ideal beach
for families with young children while water-skiing and windsurfing can
be enjoyed by the more adventurous.
St. Ives
is just 3 minutes by car or a 20 minute walk along the coastal path to
Porthminster beach. Exploring the cobbled streets and secret alley ways
with their many interesting and varied galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants,
it is easy to understand why so many painters, sculptors and writers chose
and still choose, to live here.
West Cornwall
is famous for its crystal-clear ocean and glorious beaches and offers
a spectacular mix of awesome sea cliffs and heather moorland, wooded valleys
and green fields, hidden corners and sun soaked caves.
SELF CATERING AT JAMIES
The House comfortably sleeps 10 to 12 in large
light-filled rooms with sweeping seaviews across the bay to St Ives and
Godrevy Lighthouse. All five bedrooms have super-kingsize double or twin
beds with bathrooms ensuite. The dining room and two drawing rooms have
stunning seaviews - separate family kitchen and library/snug. Very large
garden, barbecue area and parking for four to five cars. Price
£2800 per week.
