All
lounges have colour TV with extra points in bedrooms and some kitchens.
The kitchens are all very well equipped with automatic washing machines,
microwave ovens and standard cookers, refrigerators with ice compartments,
and all the usual requirements. The flats all have full central heating,
the cost of which is included in the weekly tariff.
Please note that linen is also included in the cost of your holiday. All the accommodation is cleaned thoroughly between holidays, this means that it is necessary for you to vacate the flats by 10 a.m. on your day of departure and access will be anytime from 2 p.m. Please ring if you anticipate being late, so that arrangements may be made about the key.
Start days are Friday during the high season, this has been found to be a good day for travelling, but in the low season arrangements can be made to suit you.
We would like to draw your attention to the extremely reasonable rates we offer for Spring and Autumn holidays; these are times when Cornwall is at its most beautiful, and with gas central heating, you are assured of being comfortable at all times.
If you decide to book your holiday with us please check by phone for up to date availability, complete the booking form and send together with a 25% deposit. The remainder of your charge will be due one month prior to your stay. Telephone bookings will be held for 5 working days.
ST MERRYN - Our village has a fine Norman church and offers everything you need in the way of shops. A pair of ancient pubs, both of which provide food one of which is at the bottom of our lane. there is also a garage, deli, bakery, post office and many restaurants. Trevose Golf and Country Club is only minutes in the car, it has a championship course, plus a 9 hole short course and a 9 hole long course.
PADSTOW - We are only 3 miles from the picturesque old fishing port of Padstow where the River Camel meets the sea. The port offers many varied water sports and there are also fishing trips available.
You can see the coast on one of the special boat trips which operate from the quay, taking you around Puffin Island and other places of interest.
The Camel Trail has become one of the most popular attractions for families. The Trail, completely free of motor vehicles, covers some 18 miles providing a wonderful opportunity for bird watching, walking or cycling in picturesque countryside. Cycles can be hired in Padstow. Padstow also boasts many good restaurants, including the now internationally famous Seafood Restaurant.
