Higher Polgassic is a spacious, very attractive, detached holiday cottage, set in over 2 acres of interesting gardens. This quiet rural location offers spectacular views over the magnificent Cornish Countryside, and yet only 1½ miles from the beach and coastal path.
Our Self Catering Cottage, constructed of local Cornish stone, has 2 bedrooms which sleeps 4 (plus Z bed and cot).
The cottage is centrally heated and well furnished. The cosy lounge/dining room with inglenook fireplace and patio doors has comfortable seating and dining room furniture, colour remote control TV, DVD player & Freeview T V.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and washer/dryer, an excellent selection of kitchen equipment and all the usual sundries including an iron, ironing board and tea towels.
The two bedrooms are tastefully furnished with coordinated soft furnishings.
The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and the upstairs one is twin bedded. There are duvets on the beds and we provide all the bed linen (except for cots). The bathroom has a bath, washbasin and toilet. A cot, highchair and stair gate are available on request. Towels are also provided.
Small dogs are welcome by arrangement. We do however ask you not to smoke in the cottage.
There is also a patio and BBQ for your use when al fresco dining!
We have endeavored to provide all the little extras which we hope will make our cottage more home from home rather than just another holiday cottage.
We are situated just on the outskirts of Lansallos, a delightful Cornish hamlet at Lantivet Bay with it’s splendid 14th Century Church of great architectural interest and the Coastal Path with it’s spectacular scenery.
The nearby places of interest such as Looe, Polperro, Polruan and Fowey are only a few minutes drive away, while the Eden Project, many National Trust properties and the national parks of Dartmoor and Bodmin moor are within easy reach.
