Henwood Barns are three converted barns set around the
original farmyard in the unspoiled village of Henwood which is tucked
under the edge of Bodmin Moor. These cottages are ideally suited for walking
the moors and touring Cornwall and Devon, being within easy access of
the North and South coasts. Already set in an Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the area has now been awarded World
Heritage status.
The cottages have been converted to a high standard while
maintaining their original charm. The cottages are fitted with wood burning
stoves. They have bathrooms with both bath and shower facilities. The
barns overlook a courtyard that leads onto a garden with beautiful views
over both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.
 Bodmin
Moor is on the doorstep providing stunning scenery all year round and
the area provides activities and attractions for everyone. The south and
north coast beaches, the Eden Project Lanhydrock House and
the Lost Gardens of Heligan Tintagel Looe and Plymouth, are all around
30 minutes away by car. Which makes Henwood an ideal location for days
out.

Small Barn
Sleeps 4/5. From £250 to £530 pw
Open May 2008
Small Barn accommodates four people comfortably, but can
sleep five with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with fold away
bed. The cottage also has a woodburning stove and bath and shower facilities.
The ground floor has an open plan design, the lounge with dining area
has a colour tv with dvd and freeview. Small Barn also have a WiFi
connection for your convenience. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker,
microwave, fridge and washer dryer.

Mole Cottage
Sleeps 2 + 2. From £230 to £450 pw
Open May 2008
Mole Cottage is suited to couples, as upstairs
there is a galleried bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom.
There is however a large sofa bed in the lounge to enable the cottage
to sleep 2 + 2.
Mole Cottage also has a large open plan ground floor with slate flagstones,
and woodburning stove and a great view of the Moor.
Mole also has a colour tv with dvd and freeview and WiFi
connection. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, microwave and fridge.

Activities available nearby include watersports at Siblyback,
golf at St Mellion and horse riding
at the T. M International School of Horsemanship
and climbing on Bodmin Moor.
Liskeard and Launceston are the nearest major shopping towns, whilst there
are several local country pubs (including the Jamaica
Inn at Bolventor). Several local shops are available in villages
nearby.
