Henwood Barns are three converted barns set around the original farmyard in the unspoiled village of Henwood which is tucked under the edge of Bodmin Moor. These cottages are ideally suited for walking the moors and touring Cornwall and Devon, being within easy access of the North and South coasts. Already set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the area has now been awarded World Heritage status.

The cottages have been converted to a high standard while maintaining their original charm. The cottages are fitted with wood burning stoves. They have bathrooms with both bath and shower facilities. They overlook the courtyard that leads onto a garden with beautiful views over both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.

This is the largest cottage and sleeps 5 people, with a double bedroom and a twin room with zip link beds for a double bed and a single room.

This cottage has the benefit of oil central heating throughout, Henwood has a large lounge with wood burner and a separate kitchen/dining room. The newly fitted kitchen has a washer/dryer, fridge, microwave and cooker.

This is the ideal family holiday cottage for families that wish to explore the surrounding moorland, or as a base for touring the picturesque villages of North Cornwall; Boscastle, Port Isaac, Padstow or the busy Harbours on the South Cornwall Coastline; Looe, Polperro and Fowey.

We have easy access to the A30, which makes for easy travel to West Cornwall, St Ives and Lands End, as well as North Devon, and the Dartmoor National Park

Small Barn accommodates four people comfortably, but can sleep five with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with fold away bed. The cottage also has a woodburning stove and bath and shower facilities. Fuel Inclusive

The ground floor has an open plan design, the lounge with dining area has a colour tv with dvd and freeview. There is also a WiFi connection for your convenience. The kitchen is equipped with a new cooker, microwave, fridge and washer dryer.

Mole Cottage

Mole Cottage is suited to couples, as upstairs there is a galleried bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. There is however a large sofa bed in the lounge to enable the cottage to sleep 2 + 2.

Mole Cottage also has a large open plan ground floor with slate flagstones, and woodburning stove and a great view of the Moor. Fuel Inclusive

Liskeard and Launceston are the nearest major shopping towns, whilst there are several local country pubs (including the Jamaica Inn at Bolventor). Several local shops are available in villages nearby.

Bodmin Moor is on the doorstep providing stunning scenery all year round and the area provides activities and attractions for everyone. The south and north coast beaches, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Looe and Polperro, Tintagel, Plymouth, are all around 30 minutes away by car.
