Alternatively sit on the small veranda and watch the world go by. Luxury accommodation Comprising: 3 ensuite double bedrooms (all with TVs) The
masteroom is annexed by a quirky seperate staircase, however access can
be made to the rest of the bedroom's floor by using the secret (fully
soundproofed and lockable) bookcase if access is needed to check on children
or the elderly (agathe christie 'eat your heart out'). There are two king
sized beds or twins as required and one standard double. The lounge area has patio doors leading onto a large roof garden with uninterupted far reaching views across the bay from the fishing harbour to St Michael's Mount and beyond. There is a comfortable lounge with a gas stove, T.V. and DVD player. It is centrally heated for all year round use. The kitchen is fully equipped inc. dishwasher, microwave,washing machine, dryer, wine cooler, cottage belfast sink etc. etc. The property offers parking for one car. For more than 1 car there is a free car park a short distance away,or free 24hr parking at the 'famous' traditional ale house/restaurant 'tolcarne inn' next door but one, if a drink is bought (just ask for a ticket). Newlyn hosts several good pubs and eating places, one of which is the 'Tolcarne Inn' which is a real ale house offering excellent food. There is also a Cornish meadery (old style eating) and a variety of other restaurants all at walking distance. Penzance is just a 10 min level walk along the promenade and you can walk to Mousehole along the coastal path in around 20 mins, or to St. Michael's Mount and Marazion to the east. For those interested in culture, Newlyn boasts 3 art galleries whilst St. Ives and the Tate is a short drive away. Lands End, Sennen and Porthcurno which is home to the famous' Minack theatre' (stunning open air amphitheatre set in the rocks) is 10 miles to the west. There are a host of interesting walks and beautiful sandy beaches all nearby. Newlyn is an all seasons location, famous for the Newlyn/ Mousehole Christmas lights and festivities. It is on the scenic cycle route, has a regular bus service, a taxi rank and is approx. 1 mile from Penzance train station (in fact a car may not be necessary). The Eden Project is 40 mins away, Heligan gardens 10 mins
and Cape Cornwall golf 15 mins.
