Port Isaac provides the ideal centre for touring the area. Neighbouring Port Gaverne offers a safe beach with fascinating rock pools to explore and a Scuba Diving School for the more adventurous. Nearby are the beaches of Trebarwith and Polzeath that are ideal for surfing and the more traditional beach holiday. Golf, horse riding and fishing, are all readily available. Walking the cliff path provides unimaginable delights, whatever the season. Springtime sees the flowers decorate the cliffs in a riotous coat of many colours. In winter, the waves drive themselves with relentless fury against the rugged cliffs, a most exhilarating spectacle. You can see all this from Halcyon.
Harbour Lights is on the ground floor and sleeps 5 in two good-sized bedrooms. It has a large lounge with panoramic sea views. Kitchen/diner with Delabole slate floor. Automatic washing machine. Bathroom with bath, shower and w.c. Midships is on the first floor floor and sleeps 6 in three bedrooms (one with a double bed, two with twin beds) Kitchen, dining room, bathroom with bath, shower, w.c. Superb twin aspect views of the sea from the lounge. Crow's Nest is perched at the top of the house and takes up the whole of the second floor. Sleeps 6 in three bedrooms (two double and one twin beds) The three traditional dormer windows have wonderful sea views. Cosy lounge, large kitchen /diner, bathroom with bath, shower and w.c. Little Halcyon is not part of the main building but is a detached one bedroom chalet (sleeps 3) in the rear garden, with separate access and its own patio/barbecue area, living room with kitchen area, bedroom with double bed and a folding bed, bathroom / w.c. Out tariff starts from £150.00 per week.

Port
Isaac village and harbour nestles deep in its safe haven on the
North Cornish Coast. It lies within an Area of Outstanding Beauty
and it is one of the most beautiful natural harbours in Cornwall.
It is also a Heritage Coast Area. This traditional fishing village
welcomes the discerning holidaymaker seeking the real Cornwall without
the trappings of commercialism. 
Halcyon
is an impressive Victorian House standing on the cliff tops overlooking
Port Isaac Bay, towards Tintagel. It was built in 1896 by a local
boat builder with leanings toward America, hence the original name
- Washington. It was converted into four spacious apartments. Each
apartment is completely self contained with an all electric kitchen,
and colour television. Bed linen is available. Pets are permitted
in Little Halcyon and Harbour Lights by prior arrangement . Please
note that they must never be left unattended in the property.
