Gybe-Oh is a holiday house sleeps 4/5 persons situated in the well known resort of Rock, North Cornwall.

Available to let for weekends, whole weeks and longer periods. Dogs are welcome.

The House:

Gybe-Oh is a holiday house in the well known seaside resort of Rock, North Cornwall. It sleeps 4/5 people. It provides light but simple "beach hut" style living whilst at the same time providing facilities high enough for it to be classed as 3 Star by the Cornish Tourist Board. It is ideally suited to small families, singles and couples who are looking for a well situated and inexpensive house in the Rock area. The house is five minutes from the beach and is within easy walking distance of local stores, including the well known Rock Bakery.

The House is original in design. It was built in the 1960's by Ken Duxbury, a well known local author and painter. The house has a homely feel and is situated in a small but private garden. There is a separate bunkhouse in the garden comprising the second bedroom. A wood burning stove or central heating keeps the main house warm when needed. 

The main double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom comprises of two adult size bunk beds. There is a sofa bed that can be used for an additional person in the main house.  Both the bathroom and kitchen have been recently refurbished. The kitchen is well equipped with new units, gas cooker, washer/dryer and microwave. The main living room is relaxed and easy with a multi fuel stove, timber floor, rugs, sofa bed, chairs, flat screen TV and DVD.

Location:

Rock is a tranquil and much loved area of North Cornwall. It is situated on the East side of the Camel estuary within site of the fishing village of Padstow. The estuary is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is well known for its beaches, watersports, golf and coastal scenery.

Well marked scenic walks lead to the Coastal Path and the local bays of Porthilly Cove, Daymer Bay and Polzeath. These and other wonderful beaches provide safe family beaches and exciting surfing.
