Goonhilly is a fascinating and unique family experience with over 60 huge dishes pointing into space. We track geo-stationery satellites 36,000Km above the earth transmitting millions of signals everyday; including international phone calls, e-mails, Internet connections, faxes and TV pictures.

The largest dish is an incredible 46 metres in height, which is about the same as 11 double Decker buses stacked on top of each other. Our heaviest dish, Arthur, weighs 1100 tons, that's about the same as 160 fully grown elephants or more than three 747 Jumbo Jets.

Come and discover the amazing world of 'E.T.' Is there life out there? What would they look like? How far away are they? Learn about the earth's project to contact alien life, scanning several million stars in our galaxy and completed by the year 2020. Listen to space noise and watch our entertaining film narrated by Hugh Laurie, as we take you on a journey deep into space to find if other intelligent life forms could exist.

Experience the ultimate in video gaming in our amazing Xbox 360 play zone. Choose from a wide variety of games on the purpose built kiosks or sit in the racing car simulator for the very best graphics and interactive fun. Xbox activities are free to use when paying admission fee. * From Easter 2007
