Four Shores is a spacious and light Victorian town house which has been updated to a high standard.

It is centrally located in the heart of St. Ives, only a few minutes' walk from all four main beaches, the harbour, shops, galleries and extensive choice of restaurants. The house is in a convenient and sunny position, with views of St. Ives bay from the upper floors. It comfortably accommodates seven adults in five bedrooms and with central heating and quality furnishings, is suitable for holidays at all times of the year.

ACCOMMODATION

The ground floor accommodation comprises entrance porch, reception hallway, large lounge/dining room and fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar. The spacious hallway has an original timber floor and feature stained glass windows. The lounge is ideal for relaxing, with comfortable seating including two sofas and hand built window seats. The quality wool carpet and contemporary fireplace with gas fire create a warm and cosy atmosphere after a day in the fresh sea air!

The separate dining area has a large table and chairs to comfortably seat all. A large screen T.V., DVD and CD players are provided for your entertainment.

The homely kitchen at the end of the hallway offers all the convenience and equipment required to enjoy a quick breakfast or prepare a dinner party. The kitchen door opens onto a tiled yard with bistro table and chairs. There is a large store room with sink and tiled floor, handy for the storage of surf boards and walking boots etc. The yard also has a separate W.C., hose and washing line.

On the first floor there are two landings, one leading to the bathroom and toilet and the other to three bedrooms. The bathroom contains a bath, vanity unit and separate shower cubicle. There is a separate W.C. Bedroom one has a queen size (6') bed and large fitted wardrobes. Bedroom two has a double bed and stylish sink unit. Bedroom three is a single room.

From this landing stairs lead to the top floor which has two large, light and airy single bedrooms, one with a sink and both with views of the bay. All the bedrooms have wardrobes, drawers and divan beds with quality bed linen and duvets for a comfortable night's sleep.

ST IVES & WEST CORNWALL

Four Shores is a terraced house in a central and convenient location with easy access by car. Parking is not permitted in the street (because of its proximity to the town) but this can be an advantage as it is possible to load/unload the car at any time.

Included in the rental is the use of a parking space, a short distance from the property. There is a choice of car parks nearby with long stay spaces.

Once you arrive in St. Ives there is little need to use a car as 'Four Shores' is only a couple of minutes from the Market Place and all the shops and restaurants necessary for catering at home or dining out. All the beaches are also within easy walking distance with no major hills to climb.

You can choose from Porthmeor - the large Atlantic beach popular with surfers and overlooked by the Tate Gallery, Porthgwidden which is located at the other side of 'The Island' and is a small beach perfect for swimming, the Harbour beach which is very sheltered and Porthminster which is very safe for children. All the beaches have excellent restaurant and takeaway facilities.
