The nearest beaches are just three miles away in the Atlantic Heritage Coastal region with its rugged coastline and sandy bays, providing spectacular walks and with the Atlantic rollers drawing surfers from all over the world.

The small, friendly resort of Bude is six miles away, with its beaches, tidal sea water swimming pool and modern indoor leisure pool, 18 hole golf course and many other sports facilities. To the south is the beautiful beach of Widemouth Bay.
