A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Fentrigan Manor Farm, tucked away amidst peaceful countryside, a quarter of a mile down its own private lane. A wagonhouse and stables once servicing the old Manor have been carefully converted to offer very comfortable accommodation.

Six Traditional Cottages - Sleeping 4 to 6 people
Tariff from £328 to £1026 pw

The farm is steeped in history, before 1540 the Manor was part of the Tywardreath Priory, monks making their journey from Barnstaple to Truro would use it as a half-way house. The Grigg family has farmed here since the 17th Century.

The mixed farm comprises of 220 acres of cereals, cattle and sheep. Visitors are welcome to watch the farming activities. There is a Pet's Corner with hens, pigs and calves to help feed, with bottle-feeding of lambs from Easter to June.

The cottages with their traditional Cornish stone walls all have their own individual character.

Each one tastefully decorated and kept in excellent condition. The English Tourist Board inspects all the cottages.

Each cottage has pine furniture, open beams, stone walls, luxury fitted kitchen with washing machine, cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. A tumble dryer is available. All have colour televisions (video recorder and videos to hire) and luxury bathrooms with bath and shower. The wood-burners, night storage heaters and double-glazing make the cottages very cosy, ideal for winter breaks.

Fresh flowers, hand-made cushions, books and toys all add to the welcoming atmosphere of the interiors.

Spring on the farm is a wonderful season, wild flowers in abundance adorning the banks of the narrow lanes, daffodils in the gardens and lambs in the fields. An exhilarating hike across the wind-swept headlands is guaranteed to blow the mid-winter blues away.

During the Summer, Fentrigan offers the best of both worlds, many summertime activities and attractions, fine beaches, yet a quiet place to come home to.

In the Winter and Autumn enjoy brisk walks on the moors or the beach, return home to warm yourself in front of the log fire.

Cornwall is now becoming a popular destination for out of season short breaks, traffic free roads means easy access to all parts of Cornwall, the mild climate in the early and late parts of the year is ideal for a relaxing get-away break.

Whenever you choose you will be sure
to unwind and 'get away from it all'.

Visitors can experience a delightful walk down across the farm fields by using the new trail with footpaths and styles.

Leading down into a valley with wonderful coastal and country views, crossing over footbridges over streams to the beautiful lake. A sheltered haven to see wildlife and watch swallows swoop over the lake, seating is there for a picnic.

Coarse Fishing is available to our visitors with fishing bays for the fishermen. The lake is stocked with Carp.

A new tennis court is available for visitors, with racquets and balls to hire. A large wet weather and indoor games area for football, basketball and table tennis now caters for all ages.
