Owned by Tim and Hazel Brocklebank, this family holiday house is set at Trevone Bay an idyllic Cornish village where time really does seem to stand still. There are two beaches only a stones throw from the front door, the sandy beach is set in a cove, and is perfect for children, and Rocky Beach is the spot for rock pooling and a sunset BBQs. It has a semi natural swimming pool, which is refilled with every tide.

The house is situated on a private, quiet, no through road, popular with generations of visiting families, literally 100 yards from the beach. Padstow is only a five-minute drive away.

The house sleeps up to 8 people (plus cots), in four bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite and there is an additional family bathroom. Beds are made up with crisp cotton sheets, feather and down duvets, and towels, guest toiletries and hairdryers are supplied.

Both the kitchen and dining room have French doors to the garden, leading out to a decked area, perfect for drinks and BBQs, and there is a gas stove in the dining room for cosy autumn and winter indoor suppers. The kitchen has integrated appliances including dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave and it has been equipped with hopefully everything and more you could need. There is also a small dining table and chairs in the kitchen for the children to eat and play at. There is a useful utility/boot room with washer/dryer and additional sink, where you can store walking boots and outdoor gear. It is stocked with a starter supply of cleaning aids, laundry tablets, a shoe cleaning kit, golf umbrella, handy shopping basket, cooler box and and emergency kit. There is also a beach towel for every guest.

The sitting room has comfortable sofas for curling up with a good book or the morning papers, or for getting together around a game of Cornish Monopoly, and the end of the hallway has been turned into a small play corner for the children. There are children's chairs for reading stories in, a toy cupboard full of firm favourites such as Lego, Duplo, a train set and a dolls house, plus toy baskets for each of the ages from babies upwards.
