The hotel offers a total of fourteen comfortably furnished en-suite bedrooms, all newly equipped, with a choice of four-poster, double, twin, single or family rooms available, including one suite for those couples requiring additional, personal seating areas.

Since completing our major refurbishment programme in March 2005 and, in the interests of the majority of our guests, we have implemented a total no smoking policy throughout the entire hotel in accordance with the forthcoming legislation about to be introduced from July 2007.

All bedrooms in the Fairbank Hotel are located on the first and second floors accessed by two separate, bright and airy staircases. There is no lift facility installed but assistance will always be available. The main staircase to the first floor has a second handrail and nosings to the carpet on each stair tread to facilitate access for our less mobile guests.

Each room has been individually named and most have spectacular views over Crantock Bay from which guests can admire the ever-changing moods of the Atlantic Ocean.

However, the bedrooms located at the front of the hotel still enjoy fine views of uninterrupted countryside over Cubert Common, towards the village of Cubert and beyond.

High speed wireless broadband Internet access is available, on request, in all public areas and, the majority of bedrooms although signal strength can vary in certain room locations.

Romantic breaks at the Fairbank Hotel are always popular and these beautifully appointed rooms, some of which are furnished with luxurious traditional four-posters, provide an unforgettable setting for honeymooners and amorous couples of all ages! All feature stunning views of Crantock Bay with its wide, sand-dune backed shoreline.

Just a few minutes walk from the hotel and you are on the truly glorious Crantock Beach, with its magnificent expanse of golden sands, ideal for building castles, stretching from the rock pools beneath the West Pentire headland to the tidal estuary of the Gannel. The safe, lifeguard patrolled (during the summer months) beach is ideal for surfing and swimming or just lazily relaxing to the sounds of the Atlantic Ocean waves. Adjoining the beach are sweeping sand dunes and the natural grasslands of Rushy Green beautifully complementing this magnificent section of the Cornish coastline.

Whilst separated from the general bustle of the renowned Newquay and Fistral Beach by the tidal waters of the Gannel, the Fairbank Hotel is still within a five mile drive. However, they can also be easily reached along the Coastal footpath using either one of the small footbridges to cross the estuary, depending upon the state of the tide or, by seasonal small row-boat ferry.

Other Cornish attractions such as the Eden Project, the National Maritime Museum, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and many others are all within easy reach of Crantock. For keen golfers, there are eight 18-hole golf courses within close proximity (don't forget to check our special golfing offer page) and, for cyclists, the Camel Trail is also nearby.

The Fairbank Hotel is the ideal year-round retreat whether travelling to Cornwall for a relaxing vacation, a romantic getaway, or even on business. So, whether you are looking for a family holiday, a short break or just a one night stay we will be pleased to offer you that home from home comfort in a location that you will not wish to leave. So, come and try out the newly refurbished Fairbank Hotel where you can now
