Welcome to the Engine House Cottages, at Wheal Rose, near St Agnes in Cornwall.

We are sure that the above self catering holiday cottages will provide you with a memorable holiday.

The cottages have been renovated from historical mining buildings into well appointed holiday cottages, set within the one acre grounds of a Cornish Tin Mine Engine House.

This part of Cornwall has an endless list of attractions within easy driving distances: Beaches on North & South coasts; St Michael's Mount and access to the Isles of Scilly, Falmouth, Lands End, the Roseland Peninsular, and many spectacular gardens to visit.

The Eden Project is an easy drive from Engine House Cottages.

Miner's Cottage sleeps 6

Miners Cottage is large, spacious and well appointed. It has three bedrooms (two twin and one double) two bathrooms (one with a separate shower) and an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room.

The cottage provides an electric oven and hob, dish washer, fridge, TV, DVD, VCR, Freeview Box and a fully equipped kitchen.

The extensive one acre grounds provide plenty of space for children to play and the whole area is surrounded by a Cornish stone wall. The cottage has a patio area with table, chairs and a BBQ.

Our changeover day is Saturday. At the start of your holiday the cottage is available from 3pm and should be vacated by 10am on the Saturday that your holiday ends. These times are also applicable to short winter breaks.

Tinner's Cottage sleeps 6

Tinner's Cottage is large, spacious and well appointed. It has three bedrooms (two twin and one double) two bathrooms (one with separate shower) and an open plan lounge, kitchen, and dining room.

The cottage provides an electric oven and hob, dish washer, fridge, TV, DVD, VCR, Freeview Box and a fully equipped kitchen.

Tinner's Cottage has been designed for wheelchair access from the car park to an open plan living area and through to the ground floor twin bedroom and en-suite bathroom. (Wheelchair user must be accompanied by an able bodied person)

The extensive one acre grounds provide plenty of space for children to play and is surrounded by a Cornish stone wall. The cottage also has a patio area with table, chairs and a BBQ.
