Elm Cottage is in the heart
of a Cornish village on the Roseland Peninsula. It is away from
all roads and surrounded by trees. It is very child friendly. The
residency is a character Cornish cottage, with three bedrooms and
a downstairs nursery with a lovely large, private garden to the
rear of the property.
The cottage is approached to the front via a small
lane, up 4 steps and across a pleasant garden with lawns on either
side.
To the right of the front door is the sitting room,
with two settees, feature Victorian fireplace, TV, DVD and video.
Behind the the sitting room is a small nursery which, subject to
prior notice, can be equipped with a cot
There is a down stairs cloakroom, with toilet, basin
and tiled shower cubicle. To the left is the kitchen/dining room,
a spacious room with beech flooring and windows to the front and
back of the cottage.
The kitchen is well fitted and properly equipped
with a large electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing
machine. There is a pine table with benches and dresser in the kitchen
area, and a large dining table and chairs by the fireplace at the
dining end of the room.
The kitchen door leads out to the large and attractive
back garden, with a huge shaped patio laid in herringbone brickwork.
There is a BBQ provided and patio furniture. To one side of the
cottage there is off road parking, which leads round to the back
garden.
Upstairs are two front bedrooms, one a double with
a 4' 6" bed and pine furnishing. The other is a second double with
a 4' 6" bed, with a pine staircase leading to a private loft area
At the back is a twin bedded room (3' beds) and the bathroom with
a three piece suite and bidet, plus the airing cupboard and immersion
heater.
