This delightful cosy cob cottage, full of character with its low beamed ceilings, thick curved walls and wood burning fire is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Three miles from Boscastle to the south and Crackington Haven to the north, this is an ideal base for walkers (close to the coastal path & High Cliff), beach lovers or for exploring - Eden Project, Lanhydrock House and National Trust Gardens.

Marshgate, surrounded by rolling farmland, has a shop with Post Office and the neighbouring village of Tresparrett (five minute stroll) has a pub which serves food and has live music at the weekends. The beautiful St Juliot church where Thomas Hardy met his first wife Emma is within walking distance as is the beautiful wooded Valency Valley which follows the river Valency down to Boscastle.

Tariff £250 low season to £600 high season including electricity. Flexible short breaks available during low and mid season. Bed linen, towels, tea towels and first basket of coal is included.

The area has a number of golf courses for the more active as well surfing beaches and cycling.
