Situated just a short walk from the beach at Mawgan Porth
One of eight renovated barns set in the village of Trenance,
Driftwood is a two bedroom property set in its own private courtyard.
A short walk from the property will allow you access to the beach at Mawgan
Porth, or a 30 minute walk will take you to Bedruthan Steps.
Once inside the property it has a contemporary feel with
leather sofa and chairs, flat screen TV, and fully equipped kitchen to
ensure your stay is comfortable. Upstairs it is light and airy with large
windows to make the most of the Cornish skies.
The property comprises of entrance hall with cloakroom.
The open plan living area includes kitchen, with separate dining and living
areas giving access to the courtyard via French doors.
Upstairs there is a shower room with double shower, toilet
and wash hand basin.
The main bedroom has a double bed, two bedside units, chest
of drawers and wardrobe. The second bedroom has two single beds (2ft 6),
wardrobe and chest of drawers.
A travel cot (bedding not included) and high chair are
available on request, at charge of £10 per item per week.
The property has full gas central heating and is rented
on an all utilities included basis. Bed linen is also provided. There
is private parking for two cars.
The fully equipped kitchen includes
- gas hob
- electric oven
- fridge
- dishwasher and automatic washing machine
While in the lounge area you will find TV, with freeview
digi box, DVD / CD player.
Outside in the private courtyard you can relax and make
use of the patio furniture for alfresco dining. A hose pipe and wet suit
hangers are available for those who have enjoyed the fantastic local beaches.
There is also a shared garden area with picnic seating
enjoying fabulous sea views over Mawgan Porth and beyond to Newquay.
Local amenities can be found within a mile. These include
a pub, newsagent, diner and surf shop.
If you prefer to venture further a field you will find
Padstow seven miles and Newquay six miles away. The famous Extreme Academy
at Watergate Bay is just three miles and boasts one of the best beaches
for surfing and kite surfing in Cornwall, together with excellent bistro
you can end your day watching the sun set over the sea.
Driftwood is located just three miles from Newquay airport
making it ideal for short breaks out of season.
