delightful seaside village of St. Mawes. It has breathtaking panoramic
sea views from the three full length French windows with "Juliet" balconies.
The views overlook the Percuil River to St. Anthony's Head (National Trust)
and across to Falmouth and the Lizard Peninsula. It is a paradise for
walkers, sailors, artists and families who want a relaxing holiday
in an acknowledged area of outstanding natural beauty.
The newly refurbished top floor (3rd) luxury apartment
is about 100 metres from the picturesque harbour with its quirky shops,
atmospheric pubs and fine restaurants. The nearest beach is about 100
metres away.
Crow's Nest sleeps four in great comfort.
The master bedroom has a stunning sea view with a double bed
with a high quality Hypnos mattress and an ensuite bathroom with a sea
view. The ensuite bathroom has a bath, an overhead shower, w.c. wash
basin, heated towel rail, shaver point and light. The second, twin bedroom
has two 3" beds with a walk in storage cupboard. It has a bathroom
opposite with a bath, an overhead shower, w.c. wash basin, heated towel
rail, shaver point and light.
The kitchen is modern, spacious and very well equipped
including a double electric oven with a ceramic hob and a microwave. The

The living room has two big comfortable couches to
relax in, with fabulous views south and west to the Lizard Peninsular.
The furniture is all solid oak. There is a flat screen T.V , wireless
Broadband internet, D.V.D. & Bose CD player, radio and a telephone
for incoming calls. It is the perfect location to relax and unwind whatever
the weather.
St. Mawes lies at the tip of the Roseland Peninsula surrounded
by spectacular National Trust scenery. It provides some of the finest
sailing waters in the British Isles. It has a mild climate, which in the
summer is comparable to parts of the Mediterranean. St Mawes has its own
tropical garden at Lamorran House and the beautiful gardens of St Just
in Roseland Church are a walk away. The village boasts several restaurants
and hotels serving superb local sea food. For a fine dining experience
there is the world famous Tresanton Hotel. St Mawes has many amenities
including a range of shops selling excellent local produce, two banks,
three pubs, a hairdresser, a post office, chemist, doctors, churches,
tennis court, kayaking, sailing club and a very scenic Tudor Castle (English
Heritage). It is an ideal base for family holidays, having several sandy
beaches, plus excellent rock pooling and crabbing off the quay.

The small idyllic harbour, an important port in medieval
times, has a small working fishing fleet, fishermens cottages, sandy beaches,
craggy cliffs and fields sweeping down to the sea. Being on the South
West Coastal Path, it is a paradise for walkers and a magnet for artists,
bird watchers and sailors. From the quay, there are passenger ferries
to Falmouth (National Maritime museum), Truro and Place, or you can take
a water cab up the Fal estuary. Further afield are the famous tropical
gardens of Heligan, Trebah and Trelissick and The Eden Project. There
is the Tate gallery at St. Ives, surfing in Newquay, Rick Stein's in Padstow,
Caerhay's Castle and Gardens and the Cathedral city of Truro all within
an hour or so's drive.
Failing this you could just laze on the beach with a Cornish
pasty and watch the beautiful sailing boats...........A perfect spot for
a memorable holiday.
Travelling by car, take the A390 from St. Austell and then
the B3287 to Tregony. At Tregony, follow signs to St. Mawes on the A3078
for about 10 miles. Is is about 5 hours from London and the Midlands by
car. The nearest airport is Newquay about 30 miles away.
